Connect ClickUp
ClickUp stays the home of your work tasks. Thendoo brings in the ones assigned to you so you can decide when to do them, next to your meetings, habits and personal tasks.
Connect with a personal token
Section titled “Connect with a personal token”-
In ClickUp, open your avatar, then Settings → Apps → API Token. Copy the token. It starts with
pk_. -
In Thendoo, go to Settings → Connections (or the Bring in your day step when you first sign up).
-
Paste the token into ClickUp personal API token and confirm. Thendoo stores the token encrypted.
-
The connection shows Setting up… and then Up to date once the first sync finishes.
Thendoo uses a personal token rather than a “Sign in with ClickUp” button. Anyone with the token can act as you in ClickUp, so don’t share it. To cut Thendoo off, regenerate the token in ClickUp or choose Disconnect in Thendoo.
Map ClickUp to your Spaces
Section titled “Map ClickUp to your Spaces”Choose Choose Spaces to decide where ClickUp work lands. You can map a whole workspace, a ClickUp space, a folder or a single list to a Thendoo Space. The most specific choice wins. For example, map your agency workspace to “Company”, then map one client’s list to “Side project”.
What syncs
Section titled “What syncs”| From ClickUp to Thendoo | From Thendoo back to ClickUp |
|---|---|
| Tasks assigned to you, in every workspace, including subtasks | Completing a task (uses the list’s closed or done status) |
| Status changes | |
| Due date changes |
Title and notes belong to ClickUp. If you try to change them in Thendoo you’ll see That part belongs to the tool this task comes from. Change it there.
How often
Section titled “How often”Thendoo checks for changes every 5 minutes and does a full pass every 6 hours. Choose Sync now on the Connections page to pull right away.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”Disconnecting stops the sync and removes the copies Thendoo made. Nothing changes in ClickUp itself.
