Switch from Apple Reminders
Apple Reminders has no export file to upload, so this importer works differently from the others. It is meant to run inside the Thendoo phone app on your iPhone, which asks iOS for permission to read your reminders. Your reminders are read on the device. You don’t sign in to Apple from Thendoo.
What it is meant to bring over
Section titled “What it is meant to bring over”- Lists become Thendoo Lists, each in a Space you pick.
- Reminders become tasks, with their notes.
- Due dates and times come over in the time zone they were set in.
- Repeating reminders become repeat rules. Anything that can’t be matched exactly is flagged in the report.
Completed reminders arrive completed and hidden. Open ones with a past date show as Carried over.
Location reminders
Section titled “Location reminders”Reminders that fire when you arrive somewhere don’t have a match in the first plan. They come over as plain tasks, and the report lists them so you can set them up again.
Same safety net as every import
Section titled “Same safety net as every import”You see the counts first and confirm. The import can be repeated without duplicates and undone for 30 days from Import history on Settings → Import.
What works today
Section titled “What works today”Capture what matters this week in Thendoo on the web, and leave the rest in Reminders.
Got a long list? Put it in a spreadsheet, one task per row under a header row, and bring it in with the CSV file importer in Settings → Import. You match the columns, see a preview, and can undo for 30 days.
