Your tools keep the work, Thendoo plans the time

Thendoo reads your meetings from Google Calendar and your assigned tasks from ClickUp, then puts them on one Today view. The source tool stays in charge of its own data. You can also bring your tasks in from the app you use now, and let AI assistants work with your plan.

See a day in Thendoo

A short, clickable walk-through with sample data. Nothing here is saved.

Sample data
  1. 09:00Focus: quarterly report
  2. 11:00Team check-in
  3. 14:00Focus: client proposal

Meetings and focus blocks share one timeline, so free time is easy to see.

Step 3 of 4

What you can do

Live today: Google Calendar, from several accounts

Connect one or more Google accounts with read-only access. Each calendar gets a Show on Today checkbox and a Space. Thendoo syncs every five minutes, and Sync now pulls changes right away. Turn on Show my time blocks in Google Calendar and Thendoo writes only to a separate "Thendoo" calendar.

Live today: ClickUp tasks assigned to you

Paste a ClickUp personal API token (stored encrypted), and Thendoo reads tasks assigned to you across all workspaces, including subtasks. Completing a task, changing its status or moving its due date in Thendoo writes back to ClickUp. Each connection shows its status in plain words, and Disconnect removes what Thendoo copied.

Available: moving in from the apps you use now

In Settings, then Import, bring your data from Todoist, Trello, TickTick, Notion, Google Tasks or ClickUp, or from any CSV or iCalendar (.ics) file. You see a preview before anything is saved, you choose the Space it lands in, running it again adds no duplicates, and you can undo a whole import for 30 days.

Available: AI assistants through MCP

Thendoo runs its own MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can read your day and make changes with your permission. You approve each assistant on a consent screen, choose Ask me first for any kind of change, and revoke it in Settings, then Connected assistants.

Planned: a directory of connected apps

Connections is meant to become a directory with search and groups. Each app card would say Connected, Available, Import only or Planned, and show what it reads and writes before you connect. Planned cards take votes, and the votes help pick what comes next.

How integrations feed your Today view

Integrations exist to fill Today with things you didn’t have to type twice. Google events from calendars marked Show on Today appear on the timeline and in the meeting count, so free time is worked out from your real schedule. ClickUp tasks assigned to you land in the To schedule tray with their ClickUp dates, ready to drag onto a free slot like any other task.

The work stays where your team expects it. A task you complete on Today is marked done in ClickUp, and Thendoo only writes to Google when you choose to send your time blocks to the separate “Thendoo” calendar.

Live today

  • Google Calendar: read-only events from several accounts, plus optional time blocks in a separate calendar.
  • ClickUp: tasks assigned to you, with status, completion and due dates both ways.
  • AI assistants (MCP): Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients, with the permissions you choose.
  • Importers: Todoist, Trello, TickTick, Notion, Google Tasks, ClickUp, Excel (.xlsx), CSV and iCalendar (.ics) files, in Settings, then Import.
  • Bank statement import in Money, from CSV or Excel: a file upload, not a live bank connection. Importing the same file twice adds no duplicates.
  • Browser bookmarks and Obsidian or Markdown notes: one-time file imports.

Each sync has a clear status, failures back off and retry on their own, and disconnecting cleans up after itself.

Moving in

Starting over in an empty app is the hardest part of switching, so you can bring your data with you. When you sign up, Thendoo asks which apps you use today. For the ones it can import, choose Bring it in now, or Later to keep a small reminder card on Today until you’re ready.

Every importer works the same way. Download the export file from your old app (the Import page says how, with a link to that app’s own help page) and upload it. A preview shows what will come over, and nothing is written until you confirm. You pick the Space each workspace, board or project lands in, say which statuses mean done, and decide whether extra fields become custom fields. A plain CSV or Excel sheet gets one more step, where you match its columns to title, due date, List and so on.

Running the same import again updates what changed and adds no duplicates. You can undo a whole import for 30 days, and a short report says what came over and what didn’t. Old open tasks arrive as “Carried over”, never as a red overdue pile. Files are stored encrypted and deleted once the import is done.

Monday, Asana, Microsoft To Do, Jira, Linear, Evernote, Google Keep and Apple Reminders are planned for the next wave of importers. Until then, an app that exports CSV or Excel can come in through the general CSV and Excel importer as a plain list of tasks.

AI assistants through MCP

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI assistants use apps as tools. Thendoo runs its own MCP server, so you can ask an assistant “what’s on my plate today?” and get your real Today, or ask it to move a task or add a time block. Settings, then Connected assistants shows the address to paste into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.

You decide what each assistant may do. Docs, people and money stay off unless you tick them, and hidden modules are never offered. Any kind of change can wait for your approval as a card in your Inbox, every call is logged, and you can revoke an assistant at any time.

Planned: the integrations directory and connected apps

Connections is meant to grow into a directory of every app, with search and a group filter. Each card would show what is read, what is written back and which permissions it will ask for, before you connect.

The first planned live connections are GitHub and GitLab (issues and pull requests that need you, as tasks), Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive (file links on tasks, Docs and events, picked with the provider’s own file picker), Slack (save a message as a task, a daily summary, focus status), and two-way Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do. Zapier, Make and n8n are planned through Thendoo’s public API and webhooks.

If you depend on something that isn’t here yet

Capture still works for everything: type it once and sort it later. Your bank isn’t connected live either. Download a CSV or Excel statement and import it in Money, where duplicates are skipped automatically.

Questions

Which integrations are available today?

Two live connections, Google Calendar and ClickUp, plus the MCP server for AI assistants. Importers bring your data in from Todoist, Trello, TickTick, Notion, Google Tasks, ClickUp, Excel and CSV files and iCalendar (.ics) files. Bank and card statements come in through the CSV and Excel statement import in Money, and you can import browser bookmarks and Obsidian or Markdown notes.

What is planned next?

More importers, for Monday, Asana, Microsoft To Do, Jira, Linear, Evernote, Google Keep and Apple Reminders, then more connected apps such as GitHub, Google Drive and Slack. Gmail is planned too. None of these work yet, and there are no dates to share.

What is the difference between importing and connecting?

An import copies your data into Thendoo once, and you can run it again to pick up changes. After that, Thendoo owns the copy. A connection keeps the other app in charge, and Thendoo only decides when you do the work. ClickUp offers both, so you choose.

Can I edit a ClickUp task's title in Thendoo?

Not for a synced task. Title and notes belong to ClickUp, so change them there. Thendoo can complete the task and change its status and due date, and it decides when you work on it. Tasks you import from a ClickUp file are Thendoo's own, so you can edit them freely.

Does Thendoo read my email or contacts?

Not your email. Thendoo asks Google for your calendar list and events, read-only, and for more only when you use a feature that needs it - time blocks, editing events, or Bring in contacts, which reads your Google contacts into People.

How fast do changes arrive?

Both Google Calendar and ClickUp sync about every five minutes, and ClickUp also runs a full pass every six hours. Neither uses instant push updates yet, so use Sync now when you need something right away.

Give your brain one place to look.

Set up your first Today in about five minutes. Connect a calendar, add three things, start a focus session.
