Can Thendoo record and summarize meetings?
Yes. Recordings turn a conversation into notes and next steps.
- Record in the browser with your laptop or phone microphone. The audio is saved in encrypted pieces while you talk, so a closed tab doesn’t lose it. You can pause and resume.
- Or upload an audio or video file.
- Choose the kind: a meeting in the room, a class, or a voice note to yourself. Each kind gets the right kind of summary.
Afterwards you get a transcript, a summary, the decisions and open questions, and suggested tasks you approve before they’re created. Notes are linked to the calendar event and the people in it.
Consent comes first. Recording never starts until you confirm that everyone knows it’s being recorded.
Transcripts and summaries need speech-to-text and AI. On thendoo.com you’ll connect your own AI key for this (coming soon). Recording audio from online calls in a browser tab, and meeting bots for Zoom, Meet and Teams, are planned.
