What does "Carried over" mean?
In most planners, a task you didn’t finish turns red and says overdue. A few days later you face a wall of red, which makes it harder, not easier, to start again.
Thendoo doesn’t do that. When a day ends, anything you didn’t get to moves into Carried over · no rush, a calm group on Today. Nothing is lost and nothing shouts at you.
From there you can:
- drag it onto a free slot today;
- give it a new date;
- send it back to the Inbox if it no longer matters;
- or let it be.
Close the day at the end of a workday helps with this: for each open task you choose Done, Tomorrow or Leave, and write one line for tomorrow.
This is one of Thendoo’s core rules: missed items roll forward and the wording stays neutral, because shame is a poor motivator, especially with ADHD.
