Switch from ClickUp
ClickUp is the one app where you get a real choice. You can keep your team’s work in ClickUp and let Thendoo plan your time around it. Or you can move your own lists into Thendoo for good.
Two ways to bring ClickUp in
Section titled “Two ways to bring ClickUp in”- Keep it in ClickUp and sync. This is the live connection. ClickUp keeps owning the task, and Thendoo shows the ones assigned to you on Today. Status and due dates go both ways. See Connect ClickUp.
- Move everything to Thendoo. This is the importer. It copies your spaces, folders, lists and tasks once. After that, Thendoo owns the copy.
You pick per import, so a shared team space can stay synced while your personal lists move over.
Get the CSV from ClickUp
Section titled “Get the CSV from ClickUp”Workspace owners and admins can go to Settings → Imports/Exports → Export. Or open a List or Table view and choose Export → CSV with all columns. ClickUp explains both in its export help.
Bring it in
Section titled “Bring it in”- In Thendoo, open Settings → Import and pick ClickUp.
- Upload the .csv. It is stored encrypted and deleted when the import is done.
- Check the preview: counts and a few example tasks. Nothing is added yet.
- Under Where should it go?, each ClickUp space gets its own row. Send it to a new Space, an existing one, or leave it out. Its folders and Lists keep their names.
- Under Statuses, check which ClickUp statuses mean done. Each List keeps the statuses its tasks use.
- Under Other fields, keep each custom column as a field on its List, or leave it out.
- Choose Import. It runs in the background while you keep working.
What comes over
Section titled “What comes over”Tasks and subtasks, statuses, priorities, tags, checklists, time estimates, due and start dates, custom columns as fields, and a link back to each task. Comments are not imported. Attachments stay as links in the notes. Assignees come over as a field, because people are never added automatically. ClickUp Docs are not in the CSV, so they don’t come over yet.
Afterwards
Section titled “Afterwards”Running it again later updates what changed, with no duplicates. Open tasks with old dates wait under Carried over, or you can clear those dates during the import. You can undo the whole import for 30 days with Undo in Import history.
Imported tasks belong to Thendoo. Completing one does not change it in ClickUp. If you want that, use the live connection for those tasks instead.
