Terms of service for Thendoo

The agreement between you and Thendoo for using the Thendoo apps and website, including plans, payments through our reseller Paddle, your content and cancelling.

Updated:

These terms are an agreement between you and Agrima of Israel (“Thendoo”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Thendoo web app, phone apps, browser extension, public API and this website (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Thendoo for an organization, you agree for that organization too.

The service

Thendoo is a planner that brings tasks, calendars, habits, focus sessions, money records and notes into one Today view. Some features connect to other services you choose, such as Google Calendar or ClickUp. Those services have their own terms, and we can’t control what they change or how long they keep working with Thendoo.

Thendoo is not a medical device and doesn’t diagnose or treat ADHD or any other condition. It also doesn’t give financial, tax or legal advice: money features organize records you give it.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher, to create an account.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Give us an email address that works. We use it for sign-in, security notices, receipts and important changes to these terms.

Your content

Everything you put into Thendoo or sync into it (tasks, events, notes, Docs, recordings, files, money records and the like) stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, process it and show it back to you, to run the features you turn on, and to keep backups. That permission ends when your content is deleted, apart from backups that expire on their normal schedule.

We don’t sell your content, show you ads, or use your content to train AI models. When you use AI features, such as meeting notes, the content is sent to the AI provider the service is set up with, only to produce your result. Details are in the privacy policy.

Recording other people

Meeting recording is a tool you control. Before every recording or upload of a conversation with others, Thendoo asks you to confirm that everyone in it knows it’s being recorded, and it won’t start without that. You are responsible for getting any consent the law where you and the other people are requires, and for how you use what you record.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Thendoo to break the law or anyone’s rights, to send spam, to upload malware, to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, to overload or probe the service beyond normal use (security research reported to us in good faith is welcome, see contact), or to resell the service without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does any of this, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.

Plans and payments

Thendoo has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan, with limits and prices shown on the pricing page. Pro is offered at a launch price below its regular price for a limited time. If you subscribe at the launch price, you keep it for as long as your subscription stays active, even after the offer ends and new customers pay the regular price. If your subscription ends, because you cancel or a payment can’t be collected, and you subscribe again later, you pay the price shown at that time.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy Pro, you buy it from Paddle, under Paddle’s buyer terms. Paddle charges you, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and sends your receipts. You can still write to us about anything to do with your plan and we’ll help.

  • Renewal: Pro renews automatically each month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We’ll tell you in advance before a price change affects you.
  • Cancelling: cancel any time in Settings → Plan and billing → Manage billing. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free. Nothing you made is deleted.
  • Refunds: see the refund policy.
  • Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it for a while and Pro stays on meanwhile. If it keeps failing, your account moves to Free.
  • Limits: if you go over a Free limit, Thendoo stops only new uploads, recordings or connections that need more room. It never deletes anything because of a limit.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings → Your data. You then have 30 days to change your mind by signing in again; after that the account and its data are erased for good. Export your data first if you want a copy: Export my data gives you everything you stored as JSON files.

We may close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where that’s reasonable. If we ever stop offering the service, we’ll give you at least 60 days’ notice and a way to export your data, and refund any unused part of a paid period.

Changes to the service and these terms

Thendoo will keep changing as we build it. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we’ll email you and show it in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.

Liability

We work hard to keep Thendoo running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. Keep your own export of anything you can’t afford to lose.

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you’re on Free. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes go to the competent courts in Israel, unless consumer law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts. Please write to us first at [email protected]: most problems are quicker to solve by email.
