ADHD mode

A quieter Thendoo with one switch

Thendoo is calm by design for everyone. When you want more support, ADHD mode shows less at once, makes buttons bigger and keeps the focus on what's next.

What you can do

Less on screen at once

With ADHD mode on, lists show at most three items, the week view is hidden and extras step back, so the next thing is always easy to see. Your other items are still there, just out of sight.

Only the modules you use

New accounts start simple: you pick the modules you want, and the rest stay hidden until you turn them on. Fewer menus, fewer decisions.

Visible time and a tiny first step

Focus sessions show a shrinking countdown and start with a two-minute "Right now, just this" step, so starting is easier and time is something you can see.

No shame, ever

Missed tasks are Carried over, never red. Habit streaks allow an off day and skips never count against you. Thendoo never asks about a diagnosis.

Calm by design, for everyone

The ideas behind ADHD mode shape the whole app: capture in seconds, time you can see, tiny first steps, when-then habits and no shame for missed items. They make planning easier for anyone with a full life, and they matter most when focus is hard.

When to switch it on

Some people keep ADHD mode on all the time. Others switch it on for a heavy day, a week of deadlines or a bad night’s sleep. It’s one switch in Settings, and it changes nothing about your data.

More support built in

  • Forgiving habits that allow an off day each week, where skipping on purpose never counts against you.
  • Routines that walk you through one step at a time, full screen, with a timer for each step.
  • Reminders and “leave by” notes so appointments don’t sneak up on you.
  • Guides on time blindness, task paralysis and planning your day with ADHD.

Questions

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to use ADHD mode?

No. Anyone can switch it on, for a hard day or for good. Thendoo never asks about a diagnosis.

Does ADHD mode delete anything?

No. It only changes how much you see at once. Switch it off and everything is back as it was.

Is Thendoo a treatment for ADHD?

No. It's a planner built on methods that research supports, such as when-then plans and visible time. It doesn't replace medical care.
