n8n can't connect to Thendoo yet. See how planned workflows would use Thendoo's API and webhooks, and what you can automate meanwhile.

Set it up

Good to know

  • n8n is not available with Thendoo today. No workflow can read from or write to Thendoo.
  • A ready-made Thendoo node for n8n is planned for a later phase than the API and webhooks.

Why n8n

n8n is popular with people who like to build their own automations, and it can run in the cloud or on your own server. Paired with Thendoo, it could connect your plan to tools Thendoo doesn’t integrate with directly.

How it is meant to work

The plan gives Thendoo two building blocks. Personal access tokens, each limited to the modules you choose. And outgoing webhooks, which send a small message when something happens, like “task completed” or “habit logged”. n8n’s Webhook node can receive those messages, and its HTTP Request node can call an API, so workflows could use both once Thendoo has them.

A dedicated Thendoo node, so you don’t have to set up HTTP calls by hand, is planned for later.

Ideas it would allow

  • Log a habit when your smart scale records a weigh-in.
  • Create a “pay this” task when a bill arrives in a folder.
  • Post your finished tasks to a private journal at the end of the day.

Meanwhile

Keep n8n running your other tools. When a workflow surfaces something that needs your time, capture it in Thendoo. If you prefer AI assistants to workflows, Thendoo’s MCP server is another way to reach it from outside: connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client in Settings, then Connected assistants.

Troubleshooting

There is no Thendoo node in n8n.
Right, it does not exist yet. It is planned after the public API and webhooks.
Can I connect my own n8n instance to Thendoo?
Not yet, because the webhooks and tokens it would use are still planned. When they ship, any n8n instance that can reach app.thendoo.com could use them.
