Make and Thendoo integration (planned)

Make is planned for Thendoo, not available. This page describes the current design, which may change.

What Make would add

Make builds visual scenarios: when something happens in one app, do a few things in others. For Thendoo, the useful cases are small and practical. A paid invoice in your accounting tool could add a transaction in Money. A finished task in Thendoo could post a note to your team.

How it is meant to work

Thendoo plans a public API with personal access tokens, plus outgoing webhooks that fire on events like “task completed” or “habit logged”. Make can work with web APIs and webhooks in general, so scenarios could use these once they exist.

Later, the plan is a listed Thendoo app in Make, with ready-made modules so you don’t have to read API docs.

Careful with money

Adding transactions automatically is handy, and also easy to get wrong. The design keeps Money out of reach unless you allow it for that token. Amounts would follow Thendoo’s usual rule: whole minor units plus a currency code, never rounded guesses.

Today

If a scenario already emails you a summary, turn the part that needs action into a task with Capture. For money, export a CSV from your bank and use the bank CSV import in Money, which works now.
