Built around the meeting that ends your day
Willpower is low at 6 pm, so this routine doesn’t rely on it. The first habit uses the When a meeting ends trigger, which reminds you when the day’s last meeting is over. Each habit after it uses After another habit, so the whole chain runs from one moment you already have.
The first habit sends you to Close the day, Thendoo’s evening flow. For each task from today and anything carried over, you choose Done, Tomorrow or Leave, write One line about tomorrow, and press Close the day. The screen tells you “Nothing is lost. Rest well.” That line matters: the point is to stop carrying the list in your head overnight.
Adjust it to your days
- Meetings run late and you want a fixed end? Change the first trigger to At a time instead.
- Want only one meeting to count, like a daily stand-down? The trigger can be limited to meetings whose title contains certain text.
- Tired of moving tasks by hand? Turn on Roll unfinished tasks forward every night inside Close the day.
An honest tip
On days with no meetings there is no meeting end to wait for, so tick the first habit from the Habits card on Today when you stop. And keep the last habit physical. Closing the laptop is easy to skip; walking out of the room is what tells your brain the day is over.
