The short answer

Tiimo is a visual planner designed with neurodivergent people in mind, with apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android and the web, plus widgets and AI task breakdown in Pro. Thendoo also supports people with ADHD, but it runs in the browser and goes deeper on work: task lists with views, ClickUp sync, time tracking and a money module. Choose by device and by how much work planning you do.

Our take

Choose Tiimo if…

  • You plan from your phone or watch and want widgets and Live Activities on your lock screen.
  • You want AI help breaking a big task into small steps.
  • You want mood tracking next to your plan.

Choose Thendoo if…

  • You plan at a computer and want work tasks, projects and ClickUp in the same place as your day.
  • You want habits written as When/Then cues with streaks that survive an off day.
  • You want bills and budgets on the same screen as your plan.

Built for brains that drift

Tiimo and Thendoo both start from the same place: many planners are designed for people who already find planning easy. Tiimo answers that with a visual planner that follows you everywhere: phone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android, the web, widgets and Live Activities. Thendoo answers it by cutting the number of decisions on screen, removing shame from missed tasks and pairing each habit with a cue.

Where they differ

Devices. This is the biggest gap. Tiimo is on your wrist and lock screen. Thendoo is a browser app, and its reminders only appear while a Thendoo tab is open. If you need nudges away from the computer, that matters a lot.

Work depth. Thendoo includes full task management: Spaces for each job or part of life, Lists, custom statuses, Board and Table views, a timer and a ClickUp sync for assigned work. Tiimo’s to-do lists are simpler.

Habits. Thendoo writes habits as “When [cue], Then I will [action]”, with a Tiny first step and a streak rule that allows one missed day a week. Each day shows as Done, Skipped or a neutral grey Not done.

Routines. Thendoo routines run full screen, step by step, with a countdown that doesn’t move on until you are ready: “Time is up. Move on when you are ready.”

Money. Thendoo has accounts, bank CSV import, budgets and bill reminders. Tiimo does not focus on money.

AI. Tiimo Pro includes AI task breakdown. Thendoo has no AI task breakdown; its focus timer asks you to type one tiny first step yourself. Its only AI feature is meeting notes from a recording, and only when the server is set up for it.

Which suits you

If your day happens away from a desk and visual cues on your phone keep you on track, choose Tiimo. If your day is built around a computer, several roles and bills to remember, Thendoo puts all of it on one Today screen.

Moving from Tiimo to Thendoo

  1. 1Keep Tiimo running while you set up. Thendoo has no Tiimo importer, so you recreate things by hand.
  2. 2Connect the same Google Calendar under Connections, so your events appear on Thendoo's Today.
  3. 3Rebuild your regular activities: one-off items as tasks, repeating ones with repeat presets, and step-by-step sequences as routines on the Habits page.
  4. 4Turn on ADHD mode in Settings if you want fewer items on Today and bigger buttons.
  5. 5Remember that Thendoo reminders only pop up while a browser tab is open, so keep phone alarms for anything time-critical.

Questions

Is Thendoo on my phone like Tiimo?

No. Thendoo is a web app only for now. If you plan mainly on a phone or watch, Tiimo fits better today.

Do both work for ADHD?

Both were designed with ADHD in mind, in different ways. Tiimo leans on visuals and devices you carry. Thendoo leans on fewer choices at once, Carried over instead of red warnings, and a short daily plan.

Can Thendoo show my Outlook calendar?

Not directly. Thendoo reads Google Calendar only.

Give your brain one place to look.

Set up your first Today in about five minutes. Connect a calendar, add three things, start a focus session.
